Daniel Yap


Daniel is the Managing Director of Aspen3 Pte Ltd. He is an experienced trainer and mentor in creating deep learning and meaningful growth.

Daniel has 27 years of working experience in both senior leadership and management positions in the public and private sectors. During his 18 years as a Naval Officer with the Singapore Navy, Daniel has garnered a wealth of experience in working with individuals as well as high-performance teams. He has held a total of three operational unit Command appointments and led two of them to achieve the coveted Best Ship Award. His “Do-Your-Best” attitude drove him to achieve the Top Student in the Naval Warfare Officer Course as well as the Distinguish Student Award for Singapore Command and Staff Course.

Since leaving the Navy in 2005, Daniel’s passion to work with and develop people spurs him to start his training career and he has since been working with both the youth and the adults in the corporate world. As the Managing Director, Daniel is responsible for the growth of the company which has since established themselves among the premium and reputable training companies in Singapore.

Tang Seok Hian

Seok Hian one of the Directors of Aspen3 Pte Ltd. As a leadership coach and facilitator, Seok Hian specializes in Talent Management and Organization Development. She develops strategy, designs and implements initiatives and change interventions in leadership & culture, career management, learning & development, talent management and succession planning, team structure and performance management. She works closely with senior executives of organizations to facilitate the mindset and behavioural change in people.

In her 16 years of HR and leadership experience, she has taken on a wide spectrum of roles ranging from generalist, business partner, regional role, coach and facilitator.

Tang Seok Hian - Aspen3 Trainer

Ian Lye


Ian is one of the Directors of Aspen3 Pte Ltd. He is an experienced trainer, an impactful mentor/coach in creating deep learning and meaningful growth.

Before becoming a trainer, Ian had more than 23 years working in both corporate and government sector. His last job was a General Manager in a manufacturing company with more than 120 staff and turnover of more than US$12 million per annum, which had extensive business transactions with MNCs, such as Western Digital, Seagate, Flextronics, Palm Inc etc. During this period, he had extensive interactions with product designers & senior engineering executives in new start-up and MNCs located in Silicon Valley, California, Korea & Taiwan, in creating and mass producing electronics equipment and portable gadgets. Ian also played a critical role in the company’s successful expansion into the South East Asia regional markets.

During his 11 years in the Singapore Armed Forces, Ian also held leadership roles in operational logistic planning in the Naval Headquarter, as well as ground operational roles like a Chief Engineer on board Naval support ship.

Since the start of his training career, Ian has been involved in the conduct of insightful and impactful programs including leadership, team development, self-mastery, facilitation, change management, etc. The participants of these workshops or programs ranged from team leaders, managers to senior executives from US, Europe and Asia.
